Cobblestone Alley Endless Scarf

Cobblestone Alley Endless Scarf

I have been preparing knitted objects, patterns and dyed yarn to stock up to use as 'thank you' rewards for my kickstarter/indiegogo campaign and this is one of the items.

The pattern will be available as an option as a reward, as will several versions of the already knit scarf.  This is the prototype, knit out of Lion's Brand Fisherman's Wool, using about 213 yards.  It is long enough to wrap around my neck twice, but also comfortable using its single loop.  Please let me know if you are interested in the pattern, I will be happy to trade it or sell it before/after the campaign.  If you are interested in supporting the campaign, please let me know and I will contact you by your method of choice (email, Facebook, Twitter or Ravelry) when it goes live.

It is inspired by the numerous cobblestone alleys that are found throughout Philadelphia, with a texture reminiscent of stones rounded by time, weather, and traffic.

Hand Dyed

I'm mailing out some of my hand-dyed this week.

The first is called 'Alice and the Cheshire Cat' that I made specifically for my Yoga Swap Partner, who is an Alice in Wonderland fan!

The second is called 'Meadow' which I made a long time ago, and offered it up for a swap on Ravelry.

The third is called 'Mountain Sunset' which argued with me a little while before it came out the way I wanted it to -

I hope these recipients enjoy their yarn. I'll be posting pictures soon!

Sock Blanket Starter Kits

Want to start a Sock Yarn Blanket but don't know where to start?

These kits include everything you need to get started - two size 2 - 4" double pointed needles and 50 grams of sock yarn with several different options, plus the website for the free pattern.

Most of my squares use between 2 and 5 grams of yarn each, so even if yours are big 50 grams will start you off with 10 squares.

Need more yarn? Check out my booster sets!
